TEN STATION GRAVITY FILLER SEQUENCE OF OPERATION: The gravity overflow filler is used to provide a "cosmetic fill" for a wide variety of
thin products. As the overflow nozzles dive onto the container necks, they compress and form a tight seal on the rim of the
container. This allows product to travel from the common supply tank into the container. At the same time, air and excess
water are forced out through a return port in the nozzle and recirculated back to a secondary reservoir used to collect all
excess water. All machines are designed with an oversized reservoir which
is fed with water that the customer provides under pressure. The reservoir will contain a return port which allows water to
be flooded into the tank until it reaches the lower level of the return port. At this time, the excess water will overflow
into a secondary reservoir to be recycled. (This allows us to maintain a constant level of liquid in the reservoir while minimizing
costly controls.)
While the water is overflowing into the gravity reservoir, head pressure in the tank will allow
the water to gently flow down into each of the fill valves and then re-circulate back to the secondary reservoir which is
used to capture all of the excess water. This will allow all wetted parts to remain at a constant temperature between cycles.
The secondary re-circulation tank contains a float system which controls the water level in the system and will
allow the automatic fill valve to open to replenish the system when necessary. All of the water in the secondary tank
is continuously heated and recycled back to the gravity reservoir.
